I've painted some of the trim on my 2005 Aveo hatch blue to match my mats. I used a fabric/vinyl paint which did not require primer. Here's some pics.

The door handle rings were not too difficult. I just popped them out with a screwdriver.

These steering wheel inserts came out pretty easy. I pryed them off with a flat screwdriver. To put them back I needed the help of a friend. I held back the plastic on the wheel while he re-installed the inserts.

The center console was the biggest job. The harnesses for the switches on the upper panel had to be disconnected before yanking it out. This meant the deck also had to be removed.

I think this looks much better than the stock grey colours. Tell me what you think.
