What kind of systems do you guys have? Post a picture up!

Mine is an Alpine MRP-M500, powering 2 Pioneer 12" subs in a ported box. My head unit is a bluetooth one made by Dual. Changes to green at night to match the clock/gauges, is dark red during the day

this is the system in my 2011 aveo hatch 2 6x9 boxed and a lil 400 huge upgrades on the way but this is a start

My Current System is as follows.....Alpine CDA-105 HU, MBQuart Onyx 6x9's mounted in a custom deck I built along with an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1d. But...I'm getting ready to oust everything but the HU, and put a 15" Obsidian D4, with Cadence Mids and Highs. Just trying to figure out how to get a stronger alternator in my car to be able to handle 1300watts daily.

Are you running 1300rms or "Max"? 1300 Max watts is nothing. The stock alternator can handle that no problem. I ran 500 rms watts a.d had almost no dimming of lights, and the voltage never dropped under 13v.

rms and I run 300 to my infinity now and dims my lights really bad. It's on a 4 ohm load with the gains at about 60%

You could always run a second battery

Recently added a sub and swapped amps and found dimming got worse going to upgrade the big 3 for the wireing and add a 1 ph cap into system to solve issue no need to run 2nd battery that way

^ check you're sources dude, capacitors are kinda pointless. 2 battery's or bust. I only had a cap cuz I got it from a bud with a wiring kit he didn't use. And it made zero difference with dimming. Also what is a 1 "ph" cap. It should be measured in farads.

i have that amp mrp500 in my other vehicle too,,, not that great..... compare to my rockford 501bd ...
