I have done plenty of research and cannot find out how to get this off.
I have removed all restraints aside from something behind the door handle, it seems impossible.

You need to remove the window crank...
So what was the problem? Is there just the one screw in the door handle? I'm looking to install new speakers and will probably have the same issue.
Probably a 'c clip' that needs to slide out from between the window crank and the panel. Bit of a pain, but take your time, and don't lose it!
They call it the "Jesus Clip" for a reason
Removing C-clip using a screwdriver and a dentek fun flosser ..see pic below..
You can expose the clip by wedging something flat like a screwdriver between the panel and window crank (also there might be a plastic ring, between the window crank and the door panel, covering the C-clip).

I got everything off except the door handle, is there another screw behind that little panel? On the other guide which has a full armrest it shows two screws under that panel. I got the door grab handle part off and the window crank off (used a looped twist tie, pretty slick), but I can't get it to come loose behind the door handle.
Are talking about the lever to open the door? The trim around the handle comes out. It's a pita. There's a good Russian video on YouTube that shows how.
Im not familiar with the 2010..which I assume is the vehicle youre working on? It appears to be slightly different depending on the year and whether or not it's manual or power windows/locks. But can you post the link to the other guide..just curious to see what youre looking at..
That was my guess too..that hes referring to the trim around the lever handle...Good video guide btw..
Awesome video. I have manual windows all around so my front door looks like the back door. There is a very small bezel around the door handle. Now that I see where to pull it from should be easy. Also I didn't notice him take out the front panel around the mirror adjust. Looks like it was still there when he pulled the panel.
You dont need to remove it, I also hear they break easy so I hope no one ever has to pry one off.
If you havent taken the clip out of the window crank already I used a flathead to widen the gap between the plastic washer and crank then got a thin and stiff wire with a hook bent in it at the end and went fishing for the top loop an gave er' a pull. Also as a tip they like to go flying so figure a way capture it or easily find it if it goes such as pull it out while inside the car or pull it on a large paved surface...
They dont go very far but it was enough for me to lose it in gravel for a whole day ;)
