I use it to avoid speedtrap.
Here in Romania the cop;'s are using an instant pop radar's, and the radar detector is not good enymore.
I will hide the alimentation wires.
Thks.

I put a Midland 1001z cb in the empty slot under my FM radio. I mounted a Firestik antenna where the factory antenna was on the roof. The factory antenna now runs behind the headliner. It's nothing special, but it works. The cb radio was on clearance for $14. The clearance price was the only reason I bought it. I spent at least 10x that on the DIN kit, antenna, mount, and wiring harness. There are 2 pictures posted in my garage.
On citizen band radio I have heard people use numbers for a call sign; though I don't think call signs are required for cb. Are these numbers assigned or do people make them up?
they are made up, i used to have a cb and a VHF 2m radio in my aveo,, but now i just have the ham radio, ill post pics as soon as i can
Cool.. CB was like the internet of the 70's. I wouldn't mind one.

Nice....You should hardwire the power so it runs under the panels and carpet. I've been considering a removable whip.
