2006 chevy aveo i have a jvc kd r210 reciever i bought the adapter wire harness when i hook the wires up how they should be nothing works no power if i put the switch and constant together it works but of course it wont hold any presets when you turn the key off and back on any info will help its my wifes car and she is on my ass about it lol

Dude... Do you have a volt meter? That will go a long ways in telling you what is power or not. Even a light bulb tester from the Auto store can help you. I suspect that you don't have constant identified properly.

double check the wiring harness, their are 2 different harnesses available. the hatch has its own harness and sedan has its own. if I remeber correctly i think 04 to 08 hatch has one and 04 05 sedan has its own. it is also possible that with a cheap brand wiring harness that the pins in the connectors may not be in correctly or in the wrong location.
