      Dash trim kit

So... I searched the forum but didn't find any posts about it. I've been considering a dash trim kit (there are a few of them out there for our cars), the carbon fiber one... Any suggestions? Has anyone tried one of those kits? Any pro's and con's? They run around $100 from what I found on the net, so I would rather see if anyone tried them in our cars/any other cars before I spend the money.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks ahead guys!

The only ones I have seen are stick on types and don't look that great. But that was in a Cavalier.

I had the silver aluminum stick on trim kit in my old truck. It looked nice. The CF is cool, but you already have CF in the stock Aveo5 doors.

Very fake looking carbon fiber. :P at least in 04-08 interior. Did they get better in newer models?

I'm also leaning towards getting some realistic looking cf vinyl and redoing my handles and maybe some other stuff. Less money but more work. a chance it will look better thou...

      Ours look just like this:

Mine doesn't have leather though, or the chrome around the heater vents.

Hmm... so they went away with fake carbon fiber altogether. I like what they did with interior. But if I will be upgrading my Aveo it will be to RS.

What do you guys think about vinyl CF idea?
