My cd/mp3 just quit...my aveo is only 3 1/2 years old! I have been searching out the numerous error codes ( 4/6 & 9). Can anyone tell me if this is just a case of a filthy lense ( which I have tried to clean w/ lense cleaning disc) or has she given up the ghost? Most annoying and frustrating as the dealers here in the east GTA/Canada are clueless unless I want to pay $75 bucks for a subcontracted stereo tech to give me the news.... Anyone else suffering through this bull****?
get an aftermarket stereo or a ebay replacement, will be just as expensive.

My friend Steve had his mp3 player removed and replaced with an Alpine CD/AM/FM/SATELLITE radio that sounds great and now he has 200 channels of uniterrupted music.
