factory radio and sub setup question

ok maybe you guys can help, im not really wanting to change the headunit in my 07 aveo sedan, but i want subs, ive been doing systems or a long time now, usually with an aftermarket head unit, but with an oem setup where i wanted an amp and sub setup i usually tap into the rear speakers of the vehicle and turn them into an rca input for the amp, i tried that with this car and it sounded like crap, the factory radio did not like that one bit, i pulled the radio today to see what kind of connector i would need if i decide to change radios, and on top of the radio i saw a sticker that labled every pin on the radio, see pic below.......

now this sticker says the radio has a subwoofer + and - output, can i just run a wire from those pins to the amps rca input, also i wanted to ask you guys if you would you happen to know what the "subwoofer enable" is?

Maybe enable is the remote on, and remote is for controlling the amp from the head unit? I have never had a factory aveo stereo so I'm only guessing. You might try searching for a wiring diagram of an aveo that has the amp already installed. Or another vehicle with that same model of stereo?

I will think of a better signature later.

my first thought would be a remote wire, but if you look it already has a sub remote pin, im going to see if i can find a wiring diagram somewhere on the net

For best sound quality, you're going to want to use a line out converter. One side splices into your factory wiring harness, and on the other side of the converter there are RCA outputs which run to your amp. I had to do this for my system before I got an aftermarket headunit, if you want pictures on how it all works, I can rip my deck out and snag a picture. I never took it out.

well when i splice into the rear speakers and it goes into the amp ususaly that works good as a rear out, if the radio has a true sub output why not use it vs taking power from the rear speakers to run the preamp inputs on the amp?

and for sake of arguement i went and bought a line output converter and installed it, which resulted in the same exact thing i had before, so that is apparently no different than what i was already doing

i would say since (at least my) stock head unit from my 07 aveo 5 only put out 20w rms per channel.. that would make your 200+w amp sound bad.

Look into the JBL MS8 or Audison Bit One. They can help you achieve your goals.
