      Gauge lights

How do I change the lights to a good bright blue color in the gauge cluster? Which bulbs are good cause I bought the only ones I saw in autozone just a regular blue bulb n it didn't look blue it had a tint of
gren still n it actually turned compleltly back to green?!

As he said the best choice would be putting LEDs in it. I'm in the process of changing my current bulb and by the way I ordered them from eBay like a week ago and the I think the best LEDs are the SMD ones because I heard the spread evenly the light compared to the blue old ones I put in that had 6 LEDs in it. I will have pictures as soon I replace those in my car.

The web site above its really good but I heard the bulbs burn out and usually don't last that much and I always buy mines at eBay.

      Re: Gauge lights

Well, mine haven't burned out yet so I can't say nothing about that, but the guys that recommended me the site seemed to have good faith in it. They even sell them at their shop from what I understand.

And what makes you think that eBay is always reliable? I'm sure many of us heard a lot more negative stories about eBay quality than about that site. Then again, eBay is a lot larger.

      Re: Gauge lights

Guys I received the blue LEDs bulbs for the gauge and white one for the license plate light from eBay and my boyfriend installed them and all I can now the gauges look amazing and white are a nice upgrade over the stock ones. I should have a pictures soon and maybe a write-up and sorry in hijacking the thread.

      Re: Gauge lights

Blue LED gauges and cool white LED license plate lights is a good combo - I got that too and I love it. BTW, Aveogirl, did you do the HVAC panel lights too?

      Re: Gauge lights

Yeah it is a combo, the HVAC will be changed as well but I'm waiting for those bulbs since most of the LEDs on eBay come from China therefore it usually takes quite a while.
