      High Quality Speakers

I'm sure as you all know that the base speakers in the Aveo are not that good. I brought replacements which I thought were better but the sound just the same. Any recommendations on what speakers are decent or if I should purchase a sub-woofer?

most def get a system brother!!!

these cars audio system is very **** to be blunt..

the front speakers could be replaced and amped to have a clear sound with some decent bass.. but if you own the HB aveo, the oem speakers for the hatch area are impossible to replace in those housings from what ive been reading..now i have seen some ppl build a amp/sub /mids setup to fit bigger speakers.. but thats kinda crazy..

for a cheap clear with no chance of blowing speakers

get a little 10" sub or 12" ( depending on what you listen to) but small wheelbase makes for a 10 to sound good still
hook that B!&%H up lol.. and for more clear treble. hook up a set of aftermarket speakers to an amp with the gain turned up.. which will remove as much bass as it can from the speakers allowing for no popping or cracking unless way outta tune ( treble can make crackle if too loud)

Lolwut. I changed mine out very easily...

Also you can put 6x9s in the cargo cover in the hatch very easily. 4x6s are pretty poopy.
