How Do I Remove The Front Door Panel?

I am about to order my new speakers, 6.5 in the front and 4x6 in the rear, but I don't know how to remove the front door panels on my '07 Aveo5.

Want me to just come over and install them for ya?

      1. Lower the front window.
      2. Remove the door pull screw.
      3. Remove the inside door handle.
      4. Remove the screws at the base of the trim panel. (x3)
      5. Pry off the trim panel from the bottom corner.
as for pictures, my right click doesn't work on my mouse so I cant help you with that but theres one behind the handle, 3 along the bottom, and 1 behind the lever

      "Remove the inside door handle."
Though it sounds easy, this is the most difficult part. Been working on it (2011 Aveo) all day, and it won't budge, so a video of how to do this would be much appreciated!

You could also just make your body panels out of cardboard and duct tape. Think of the weight reduction!

      Hi JJJoseph,

This video helps me a lot removing the door panel when I decided to replace my stock door speakers.

Thanks, kulaps, the key to success is the trim around the door handle. It's a bugger to remove it, and it can be broken easily. After breaking one, I now know how to remove this piece!
