How to remove center console | Help please !

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum and I was wondering how can I remove the center console to change the bulbs. I would like to change this kind of green light for red ones that I just received. I tried to take it off but i couldn't ! Please help me !

The two trim pieces on each side pop off with a flathead screwdriver. Insert from the bottom and gently pull them off. You will see screws to remove the center section with the secondary instrument panel, and the radio itself. The rest should be fairly straight forward.

      Good Luck!

but wrap the screwdriver in tape to prevent damage to your trim pieces.

They are the two big pieces of textured dimpled plastic on the right and left of the cluster, or top and bottom of your sideways picture

His next step is that he is provably going to tell you you can't change the radio light colors. Either that or the fact that Andrew Butler gave directions on how to remove the radio, not the HVAC controls

I know its been YEARS since this post, ...but did you ever change the light color for the dash or the HVAC controls, by removing the radio? Since i am removing my radio in a few days, i will have my center dash open. IF i can be told where the bulbs are, and what kind to buy, I'd like to change them over to red. Would be GREAT to change the dash instruments to red...but I bet that is VERY complicated.
So...did you do it? And where were the bulbs...what did they light up? Thanks.
