I have no radio any more

Unbeliveable but I have no radio in my car any more cause last week I just found my car open in the morning with the stock radio panel taken away. Just the panel was gone, the radio itself was intact. Always park my car on the street and yes, I have a alarm system but it didn't detect the intruder that night. Chances are I forgot to lock my car if that's possible at all. But I doubt that. I just can't figure out who needed the panel cuz it's worthless without the radio. And the panel case I kept in the glove compartment was carefully taken away too. Well this way or another now I need a new radio. I just want a plane 1DIN mp3 radio, will any model fit my aveo? Can there be any differences in size between different models? What would you guys suggest?

single din is all you need. the vast majority will fit in there.

Yes, single DIN is what I wanna get. And have you heard of any misfit issues or do you know of any models that wont definately fit?

Damn, that's crap. I hate thieves... seriously get a job, if you still cant get it... do without. Thieves and Graffiti peeps who destroy others property just really get to me...

Sorry for the loss, did they damage anything? Pictures? What do you plan on doing now?

Oh, thanks God they didn't damage anything. Only the panel disappeared along with the case for it. The only little damage I noticed was a stain of dirt like off someone's shoe on the floor carpet that I washed off later, and that was in the back behind the driver's seat. What the heck did they do in the back of my car? A homeless got in to spend the night there? That was the only trace left on the crime scene. How did they manage to unlock my car unnoticed? My first thought was some jackass had tried to joke on me or a neighbour of mine seeing my car unlocked had removed the panel to prevent a theft. But noone has contacted me since to return the panel. All that remains a complete mistery to me.

And moreover, that was a strange theft because they took the panel but didn't take the radio! Who on earth needed my radio panel? What I plan on now is getting a new radio. Or I can start singing for myself in the car! :lol:
