About LinkBacksit had good sq but it was just too wimpy for a lack of a better term, not enough oomph and its frequency response was rather poor.
Ill be getting my new sub and enclosure tomorrow though, I cant wait.

bummer, looks like it should pound decent but then again, cant judge a book by its cover... was the box ported? maybe that would have helped? would you consider selling?
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
it was in a sealed enclosure (as are my 15s) and my amp gave it all the watts it could handle so its excursion would peak, it only got somewhat satisfyingly loud when it was going full out. it made a valiant effort but didn't quite get it.
I cant wait to get home tonight and wire up the new guy.
Ahh so close. I got the enclosure and Sub and wired it right up only to find that I'm going to have to shave the sides of the opening a little bit to allow the sub to fit in the box properly, and since i dont have a dremel tool on hand ill be ghetto'ing it with something i find in walmart a midnight when i get back towards my end of town.
even with the sub sticking out almost an inch haha its very loud (though distorted because of this), I cant wait to have it set-up correctly and give it all it can handle.
Also i already sold the mtx for 60 bucks haha, i made 10 bucks and got to deal with an MTX. not bad all in all.
Here She Is, It took a while to dremel out the hole but it was a tight comfy fit for it.
This single 10 gets LOUD, i was in shock even after having been exposed to my two S15's, made me very proud haha.

If you ever make it to the phx area you should let me know so i can here it. I have two S12L5's and when I finally get a lanos I'd like to get a setup like yours and hopfully have it hit almost as good as my two L5s...or if I can find a good deal on one of kicker higher up subs (like the competition ones I think are next) then I'd go for that.Originally Posted by thenixonyouth
