I actually made an interesting discovery yesterday afternoon when driving home; my Girlfriend called me while my phone was plugged into the Aux Port, and the call came through the speakers as if I had Bluetooth; and now I'm wondering if there's a way to exploit my discovery.

That should work if you have a good speaker phone.

I be leave the Bluetooth is separate from the onstar. Since you said it came through car speackers when it was hooked up. I bet you might have the Bluetooth box under your consol. I think 09 or 10 cars had to have the Bluetooth in them or the option for the Hands free law.

      Options are limited.

Audio Only Rockford Fosgate cigarette adapter that uses AUX to connect to the radio:
Amazon.com: Rockford Fosgate Universal Bluetooth Car Adapter for Wireless Streaming: Car Electronics

      Audio and Phone Voice:
      iSimple InSeam
iSimple ISFM2201 (ISFM2201) Bluetooth Enabled FM Transmitter With HFP, A2DP & AVRCP Support at Onlinecarstereo.com
iSimple ISFM2201 Bluetooth Media Vehicle Integration Kit New | eBay

You will not be able to do anything with the factory radio to add factory bluetooth to it, so no point wasting time looking for components. Your choice is limited to those of what I posted and then the options that you listed yourself that you aren't interested in.

An aftermarket radio is by far the best option.
