      installing new speakers

Throwing in some Sony Xplods because I got tired of stock paper cones.

Once I removed the old 4x6s, I can't tell if the white or green is the positive/negative. Anyone know off the top of their head?

Nevermind, I peeked in your garage. If it's 2008, here you go:

Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Orange
Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Yellow
      Radio Ground Wire: Black
      Radio Illumination Wire: Brown/White
      Stereo Dimmer Wire: Light Green/Red
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Violet
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Blue
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Green
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): White

At the actual speaker hookup, both rear had a green and white wire.

do either have a stripe... you should have done one at a time lol. common logic. just connect them, and try it, if it doesn't work u know u got it backwards.

      Thank you, dahanger.

T.fader - actually knowing how speakers work, I knew that wiring them with the wrong polarity would just put them out of phase with the front speakers.
