Ron is a guy that takes care and pride in all of his vehicles. If I was going to show off something I did, I'd make sure it was a good picture without a bunch of garbage in my car.

Wait...I see the pics now...you wanted us to see the color red you used because it's the same at the McDonald's bags.

I am very sorry I said it was garbage, it was there for reference.

I've been driving my free Honda around and my lady doesn't keep the Aveo that clean. Takes 3 hours to do a good job (wax, Wet Shine every piece of rubber, etc).

Anyway... the paint looks a bit sloppy from the pics. If anything I would get a sheet of brushed aluminum and make real accents (or the eBay fuax kit). To each his own!

Did you use clear coat? If not you'll hate life. Also it'll fade and chip if you used cheap paint. Theres specialty paint for plastics and a high heat durable clear coat that'll do the job right.

So if/when I paint the motor cover and other plastic bit undeer the hood, I should clear coat them also? Even if I use a ceramic paint?

I never thought about it, but it does set things off a bit.
