The passenger side door handle on my 2011 aveo sedan snapped in half today when my wife started to open the door. All my warranties are still good and I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. If so, was it covered? Than you.

Well, the chevrolet dealership said that the warranty covers this so I can bring it in to get replaced tomorrow for free. My main concern here was whether or not the door handles breaking is a common problem for the aveo.

I know this thread is dated, but my 2011 aveo's driver handle snapped in two. I went in for an oil change and they replaced it free, since it was still under warranty.Quote:
