      Interior Lighting

Ok, now you've probably seen those "neon" tubes at Wal-Mart.
Well I've had them before in a Jetta and they look pretty good.

Now I only have 1 12v cigarette plug thing in the front so I was wondering would I be able to splice a couple of them together so they can all run into that 1 plug? Or would there not be enough power running to the lights? If this is the case, how else could I power 4 lights (total)?

What do you mean there's no turbo?

You can plug em into the battery if they have fuses. Other wise I would recommend splicing into the wires going to the rear 12v adapter.

Nah... all it is, is 2 lights running wires from a black box (to control the bass response) and a 12v cigarette plugin running from that.
      I don't think I have a rear 12v plugin? Only 1 in the dash. But I could be wrong, don't remember since I don't smoke :P
      Thanks for the response though.

you have one plug in on the rear of your center console by the e-brake. but you can get what i have and that is a quadra-socket. allows for u to plug in 4 things at once.

im not a huge fan of the whole lighter socket neons. a much better source is cold cathode lighting. i just stalled some on our aveo, and used to have them on my scion xb. very cheap and pretty easy to install, the best part is that you hard wire them and there is no wires just hangin around the car.

def. i used l.e.d.s for my interior lights and all they are is, one wire to a power source, one wire to a ground. easy to install, easy to hide the wires.

Were you guys just running them straight to the battery?

And shapinoweno, would you mind taking a picture of your headlights turned on? I want to see how good they work. If you don't mind.

well its not that hard, he should be able to figure it out. but i never put mine onto a switch, mine are always on. which dont bother me at all, cus they dont produce much if any glare.

Yeah, I have no problems with wiring at at. I just did all my speakers and deck myself with ease.

See, I my main concern is if I have all 4 lights hooked together (they come in packages of 2), will they be noticeably duller than if there was just 1 pair plugged in?
