You know those "neon" tubes you can get from Wal-Mart or CandianTire... those.

my thoughts are-take em back, get your money back, and invest in l.e.d.s (sorry huge fan of l.e.d.s). they are way easier to install, provide much a cleaner look, and wont dim with multiple lights hooked up in one spot. those neon tubes are just bulky and kinda suck.

Now what do you wire those to? The battery and then just run a switch?
just where ever there is a 12 volt power source and a ground. like the ones in the cubby hole are wired into my wire harness on the back of my cd player. the ones in the headlight are wired into the harness for the actual headlamp. and the other interior lights are tide into my fuse panel-kind of ghetto but works. i dont have a switch for mine but you can easily wire one one if you want to. but i never ran wires to my battery.

Ok yeah... I'll pick some up. What are they made by? Eurolights or something from Canadian Tire?
i dont remeber who makes em, i just got em at pep boys, they come in packs of 3 for like 7-8$ usd.

Those?
ok so the lights i use you can pick up from a computer store. they are offerd in many diffrent colors. the package consists of 2 cold cathode tubes, a little blue box (light module) and a harness for wiring them into a computer.
what i did is just sniped the red and black wire from the harness, then i zip tied the cold cathode tube underneth the dash. i used a 3 prong switch, but you could also use 2 prong switchs. the way i hooked it up;
power (red wire) from lights to middle prong on switch
black (ground) from lights to grounding point on chassis
black (ground) from switch lower post to chassis
white (12v lead) top post to ass....
i used a a add a fuse or a fusable link, this is a little black thing that plugs into the fuse box in a current fuse location and houses 2 fuses. the device also has a power lead wire coming out of it.
the reason i use these is so that:
1. the lights will only come on when there turned on by the switch and the car is on.
2. so i dont kcut into factory wiring, i think it is much cleaner, and if i ever wanted to take the lights out i could just unplug them from the fuse box and be done.
i hope this helps, it is very easy and dosent take very long at all. i do have a picture of them i will load it up in a few minutes.
Yeah, if you could get those pics that'd be great. Thanks.
