      Interior seats

I currently have the basic black cloth seats, but I want to get the leatherette seating installed.
Did that only come in the beige interior ?
Could I order it through GM and have it installed by my local dealership ?

i believe your route would work, tan and grey were available, but it might not have been real leather, just leatherette?

i would try Car Leather Upholstery | Custom Auto Leather Interiors by Katzkin a friend did his interior (professionally installed) in red leather it looks like a factory fit. his car was flat black and he was going for that rat/hot rod look..

yeah, you would save money by having your current seats re-done, you could have them done in any color/any material along with other interior pieces to match

I'll have to get a quote from the dealer for the original leather seating.
But if I do get my seats redone, will it interfere with the seat side airbags?

I too was going to switch out my seats but decided that I wanted to keep my airbags. These seats are just too damn hard on my "bottom".

you can redo the bottoms to be more comfortable or supportive.. just switch out the type of foam and such.

i did't even think you were going to buy complete seats with frames from the dealer, just the covers. you would need the 2 front seat bottom covers, the two top covers, the rear upper two covers, and the seat bottom, then the 5 head rests.. pricing them out with the dealer is the only way to tell which route to go,but if you buy the whole seat your paying for a ew seat of airbags, frames, etc. i know there is a set of cruze leathers on ebay i have been tempted to see if they will fit..

as for the airbag, its just the type of stitch used on that seam..
