LoFi Speaker suggestions?

Grabbed a modest JVC KD-X250BT Stereo on Amazon (put the same in my wifes car a while back) and some Pyle speakers in 4inch and 6.5inch. Speakers came in tonight. So ya, learned that lesson, Pyle of sh*t! The worst speakers I have ever heard! No bass at all! So I'm looking for speaker suggestions. Historically I have just run to Walmart and grabbed either the Sony or Pioneer cheap speakers. And that may be the answer again, but I think I can get better sound for my money. Not looking for anything spectacular, just an upgrade from stock. Decent bass would be nice. And as a side note, whats with the crazy OEM speakers in the front door? They aren't really 4 inch, more like 4.5. What really fits that goofy spacer? Or will I just need a different spacer?

I would go with MTX audio. I am doing an audio upgrade right now as well.. just posted a thread a few minutes ago. Also I didnt go with the OEM speaker size in the front i went with 6.5" and just cut the door panel where the speakers sit and installed them that way.

Here is a pic of my old speakers to get an idea of what i mean.
