just throwing this out there, i could be wrong but you might need a part called a GMOS. in GM vehicles 2004 and up mostly the computer runs through the stock radio and the GMOS allows everything function properly with an aftermarket radio. they normally run $100 retail.
thats just the first thing that comes to mind.
every chevy EXCEPT the aveo... which is good
awesome, guess thats why I don't have one in mine. : ) I know 2004 year models are border for that part for a lot of chevys.
