My suggestion would be to invert the subs and use the trunk as an enclosure.

Actually the in last 3 pics the 2 cars are tuned for Sound Quality, the first is for show. What I was suggesting was making a shallow enclosure for both sides and invert the subs if you wanted to show off the amps and if you tuned the system, it would sound as good as you wanted it to.

im sure is posible, but i would have to go sealed (i want to stay ported), the system would not be easily removable (not that a 130lb box thats in is). ether way, i will be makinga false floor for the amps,a nd the wiring, and then will see what i can do with the box.
i amped my fronts yesturday (35 watts RMS each) but some thing is not right with the way they sound. will have to look in to that. funny thing is 3 of my friends listened to the car and said the fronts sound great, ether my hearing is playing tricks on me or they are all death and dumb

UPDATE the fronts now sound the way they are suppost to, and each front speaker is geting 150 watts RMS, (lets just say i never knew tweeter can hurt that much), more improvements to comeOriginally Posted by deniswhite1

new subs, basicly the same subs i had but 2 years newer, and 2" biger (12s)
oh and the box is side ported
should give me 3 db more at the same power (basicly double the bass)

sad news, going back to my 10's on monday, more details then

here is the story of the 12s, had em hooked up, and went for a cruise around town blasting some bass, after about an hour the car was filled with the smell of voice coil, my amp over heated, and went off on protection. checked the resistance on the sub (they have to be 4 ohms each) and they read 3.2 and 2.5. They were bad when i got em, and since at that resistance my amp was giving em more power the voice coils went. Called the guy and told him he had 3 days to find me and give me my 10's back, or i would come over for dinner. got my subs back in 2 days

Looks good man, yeah like DL said I would move your amps because they will get destroyed very quickly. Also good work on the fiberglass for your first try. I've built a lot of fiberglass enclosures and next time go to a fabric store and buy fleece to stretch over your frame, it works the best. You might consider flipping your box up? I think they sound better that way. Good luck. Also your heater/ac controls look blue, did you change them or is it just the leds reflecting off them?
