      Mysterious unused electrical connector

Hey guys. I have a 2009 Aveo LT Notchback, and there's an electrical connector in the trunk that I have no idea what it is for. I'll link to some pictures I took, but I can't think of what it would be for, unless one of my speakers aren't connected. Any ideas?

EDIT: All my speakers in that area are connected, and with a different style of connectors, so now I have no idea. The trunk light is connected and working, so it can't be that, either.

That is the electrical connector for the Brake Light in the window of the Hatchback version of the 09. Most likely, they used the exact same wiring harness and just tucked that connector away. I'll post a pic later

Question, does your Aveo have the little Lip Spoiler, or does it have the Large Spoiler with the 3rd Brake Light in it?

I've got the large spoiler with the 3rd light in it, and that light works too

I went and looked in my own car, and that connector is for the 3rd Brake Light in the Window; since your car probably had the Large Spoiler from the Factory, the light in the window was never installed; and since they used a common Harness for all trim levels to save money; they left the connector for the uninstalled light. (I've actually have an unused Connector in my steering column, I found out that it was for the Immobilizer system that was never installed in my car since it was a Base Model.)

Consider yourself lucky, I wish I knew how to remove the immobilizer on my car.
