So i got off the majority of the pieces i wanted to paint, however these pieces circled are kicking my ass. Any advice on pry points or anything like? I know the center piece is two seperate pieces and i currently have the lower piece around the radio removed if that helps.

Well on the 1st gen, you need to snap off the 2 pieces on each side of the radio, then theres 2 screws you need to take out and the entire thing snaps off by pushing up.

or take out the radio the rest of the way, there are a few screws that hold the bottom of that panel in, and then i believe the top section pulls out, much like the radio surround.

Any idea if the two vents and those silver strips come off?

once you have it apart you can unclip the vents from the inside. I am not sure about the chrome..

I have a 05 and they are all pretty easy to remove. The Center console has 2 main screws holding it together (Maybe more on your model) Remove the two panels on both sides of the radio, then remove the radio iteself. You should see two screws just above where the radio sat. Remove those. Force the top center panel towards you then up, and you should feel it pop. The Chrome piece is not on mine, but to remove that trim you have to pop off a lot. I don't know if its just the chrome but I had to remove my whole top deck. All of my vents can "Snap" out. So I don't know if I can be much help with that model.
