new 2005 Wave Owner

I just bought a 2005 pontiac wave Hatchback .....same thing as a Aveo but I cant find a pontiac wave forum so it looks like im here to stay....

Anyways question

It comes with the stock Cd player (no aux input) with the storage below it ect...

and i was wondering what years of decks (with mp3) will work in this car?
04-08 ? Aveo/Wave/Swift.......

Im searching craiglist and ebay and I want to make sure I get something that will work for me and not find out afterward it wont fix or have the harness be totaly different......

Also is there a step by step how to on this forum on removing the old deck?

2004 to 2006 if im not mistaken, so you basicly want to buy a oem mp3 deck and replace you cd deck with it?
you should get an aftermarket deck, but if your set on the oem mp3 one, i have one i can sell, were in canada are you?

Doesn't the stock deck read mp3s? or do you want a deck with auxiliary input?

I pick the car up today ....So i have not tried a mp3 cd....but the dealer said no and it does not say mp3 on it so im guessing it does not ......
the decks on ebay have the "MP3" and no Aux that I can see....

My step brother has a 2007 wave with the Aux and mp3 cd ability its great..... but i guess that 2007 has a different harness.....

Just buy an aftermarket stereo and you will have all the features you want.
