      New Drift Iridium Gauge installed

just finished installing my rpm gauge.
my fuel level gauge is on the way in the post and next month planning on buying the speedo mph gauge :P
they are the coolest gauges ive seen around so far, besides one or 2 tht may match up..
but they cost abit too.. give and take £100 each. paid £85ish for fuel level alone, then £130+ for tacho and speedo is around £130 aswell
o well u pay for wht u get i supos...

That is the coolest gauge I've ever seen..... aside from the Aveo RS concept's gauges....
      - 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 - LQ1 3.4L DOHC 24 valve semi-hemi V6, 210 HP, 215 ft-lbs of torque, 4T60e 4 speed automatic with O/D.... 123,000+ miles. Slowly resto-modding it.
      - looking for a first gen Aveo for a daily driver :D

ye cors no probs dude, il try snap a few after work tonight
my fuel level gage came as well but in order to install it i need a empty then a full tank so havent installed it as my cars no on the road... and im not about to sit at a petrol station and take home a full tanks worth in cans LOL!
the fuel level one is much smaller on 53mm were as i think the rpm 1 is about 95mm if i remember correctly.. slots straight in to the stock clusters... just need a bit of foam to keep it in place.. but obv for the final touch il have it properly mounted in n secured

hey sorry about the quality, the lighting in my garage is really poor
so pics naturally came out awful but these are the few i just snapped up for you.
it hasnt been complty mounted just yet.. its just resting in the old gauges area with a bit of foam around the edges to wedge and hold it in place.

not that hard to be honest mate.
hardest part i fink was parting with the money loll.
gauge cost a bomb in my eyes...
and only to find out today garages are looking to charge me around £7000 for a engine conversion as i have an auto...

only thing with the gauge is locating the right wire.. for some reason when you connect to the wire without the original clusters main board there it wont work.. im guessing one of the chips on that board converts or connects one of the other signals or something and then and only then when all that data gets converted to the voltage does it work...
so you will still need the original board. im going to keep it just behind or under the clusters inside the dash as im swapping my mph gauge and fuel as well..
if you have any probs just mesg me. more than happy to help
as far as wiring its so simpl 3 wires

      1 for ignition
      1 for earth
      1 for rpm signal

easy peasy lemon squeezy if u hav done electrics or any electrical work b4 shud b a dodl.. but as i said any probs gime a shout mate
