No one has talked about an aveo arm rest???

So...

I've been sitting (well, not literally...)on an arm rest I purchased from Swirek on Ebay. Been meaning to install it but with winter and laziness I still haven't done it. I know I also owe you all pics of the cruise control I had installed so, i'll add the pics of the arm rest as well... sooner or later(prbly later)I'll get to it... spring is almost here in sunny northern cali! Ha!

Has anyone tried installing this arm rest? I think it would look a lot classier, let me know what you think. I drive an 08 Aveo with black interior by the way. I'm not really sure how well it would mount either.

Richard, it would look good but you would lose the back cupholder. If it that isn't an issue you are set to install in 5 minutes tops!

Dahanger, that's true I would like some better cup holders, the stock ones are useless with big drinks, I wish there was one with some really nice cup holders on it. Any idea what to do about the metal piece that sticks out and the hole in the seat when the arm rest is off??

Only way I can think of is to maybe get some fabric of the same color and fit it through the hole. It could cover the opening but it still won't look pretty. Or if you wanted you could invest in seat covers and that would cover it up.

Hm, your right, that would look pretty bad, maybe I can find some simple black piece of plastic and attach it so it looks like a piece of trim or something along those lines
