Outside Air Temp or weather station

I am looking for a cool way to have a gauge/device that shows me outside temperature and that would be reliable to -30F or more from inside the vehicle.

I found several very, very cheap models on amazon and ebay. I am hoping to find something with a bit more quality and maybe features. I like the ones that have ice alerts but they are quite cheap looking also, and many do not seem to go much below -4F on the sensors.

I would like to stay under $100.00 so the built in rearview mirror option is a bit high for a single feature. I saw some portable weather stations but they all have crazy poles and what not. If there was something with a smaller probe or hidden would be best.

Do you know of any devices that I could look at? If it has enough features breaking $100 would be ok.

I live in MN and commute 140 miles a day so it is out of curiosity to want more weather data. Thanks.

Save up your pennies and get the Gentex mirror. It is worth the cost IMHO. Totally integrated temp, compass, lights, dimmer.
