      Parking Brake Interlock for Stereo

I am installing a DVD system in my son's 2007 Aveo LS. The stereo has a wire that needs to connect to the parking brake switch. Is that wire accesible from where the stereo goes or do I have to run it all the way to the switch itself? If I can get to it from the stereo area, what wire am I looking for?

Needs to go to the switch. Or you can bypass that feature by grounding it to the ground wire

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if I could just ground it.
