      Is it possible?

Hi, I've got a 2006 Aveo5 SVP and I'm wondering if these two things are possible:

Could I throw in a Honda Civic deck? Where could I purchase one?

Something like this off the 2012:

And is it possible to purchase the steering wheel, gauges and vents and install them? Like this:

The parts you can get from the wrecker, but to make it fit is a different story.
A 2009 dash in a 2006, you’ll also need to change the front door panels to make it all fit. It’s a major swap, but it can be done.
      The deck, why????

I don't want to do a new dash I guess. I just want to:

      - Throw in a new deck, something with a screen or that fits the car more. Right now I only have the radio option, no CD or anything. So I'm thinking, would a 2007 or newer full MP3/CD deck fit in? I just like the Honda Civic decks, they're amazing.

      - Replace the steering wheel and gauges (RPM, SPEED, FUEL, TEMPERATURE) with the new ones with the chrome accent.

What do I need to do to go about this?

I can't remember if the 2007 is a double or a single dim deck. If it's a double you should be able to switch them out, but you will need to recode it to your car. (I have a 2009 Aveo5 deck if you'd wont it $15 plus shipping).
The gage cluster may take some modding, but I can’t say for sure. I have nothing to compare with. Does anyone have an idea??

You can install any radio into the aveo, but I do not think you can fit anything doubles in the 1st gen as I have tried. Cluster wise, there are a ton of different aftermarket gauge options but swapping any cluster will be extremely hard, I am guessing your keeping it now? There are different digital gauges they sell aftermarket, you should be able to install 5" gauges in the stock cluster as the one guy did.

That deck is nice, but if you're looking for something that's touch screen and double din, just go for an aftermarket stereo (which would probably be cheaper anyways).

No, any Civic part will give you more power output, if it is JDM you might have another 20whp or so.

There is a guy on here that turned an Aveo into an electric vehicle.
He had a touchscreen display in place of a radio.

That image is from a CarDomain profile. I'm sure they could answer questions as well.
