      Power window switch removal

I just bought a 2006 Aveo sedan, and need to repair or replace the driver's side power window switch. How is ir removed from the door panel? The other GM stuff, and Fords too, come to think of it, that I have worked on, the panel holding the switches snaps in and out of the door panel. I tried that here, but stopped, since it did not seem to be coming loose.

Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.

I have a 2004 and i have to remove the door panel and directly under the switch there is either a screw or tabs that when removed allow the switch to come out. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I will try that. Have you replaced or repaired your switches?
