      power windows?

      ok so i have manual windows and i hate it lol.
      would i need to replace the whole door for me to get power windows or can i do it by taking off the panels and crap.

      i think you would only have to replace the panels and do the wiring, dont forget about the motors for the windows. and the other mechanical aspects to it.

      yeah i was thinking of just going to the junk yards and trying to find an aveo that had power windows and just take 2 of them and just do my front windows and leave the back manual windows....
      how hard should it be to do it??

      i dont know, ive never done that but i have been wanting to do it also....

      Our windows would be actually pretty easy to convert from Manual to Power with a universal power window kit. I mean, all most of those kits do (SPAL or AutoLoc) is connect a motor to a gear to crank the manual window shaft. Thus no need for changing the entire window lift and other components, just change out the pod where the crank handle is to the power window pod, wire the universal kit into the stock pod switches, and add a power and ground.

      The pods around the doors window crank is removable and switchable. I've take my panel off and looked before.
