      with any fabricating to the rear in the hatch has anyone got bigger speaker in the back panel

      dont trim speakers thats not good :-p trim the pannel the speaker sits in....

      i love my sedan.. 6.5" all around

      Yes some people have made fiberglass panels and put 6x9 speakers in it.

      are they in the trunk cover or in the little side panels.

      LOL, that's what I meant... the plastic mounting piece the speaker is attached to. . And 6.5 all the way around is nice... we don't have that luxury in the hatch. Only shallow 6.5 with a spacer in the front. Rear requires a bit more modifications.

      ahh ok you had me scared i was like "this mans cutting up speakers!" hahahah yea the hatchback aveos have a hard knock life when it comes to speakers but damn theres a lot more opportunity for appearance enhancements that the sedan people dont get...

      Good point. That's why I'm glad I picked the hatch over sedan. Plus I've always been a "hatch" man... Corrado was the last real hatch I had... VR6... Good ol' days...
