So in a sedan you guys have plenty of space where your stock speakers are. With our hatchbacks, the speaker mounted in a very small area and the size is 4x6 with a very oddly shaped speaker mount, so aftermarket 4x6's would have to be "trimmed to fit".Originally Posted by Skalvinek

are they in the trunk cover or in the little side panels.
LOL, that's what I meant... the plastic mounting piece the speaker is attached to. . And 6.5 all the way around is nice... we don't have that luxury in the hatch. Only shallow 6.5 with a spacer in the front. Rear requires a bit more modifications.Originally Posted by tidus10

ahh ok you had me scared i was like "this mans cutting up speakers!" hahahah yea the hatchback aveos have a hard knock life when it comes to speakers but damn theres a lot more opportunity for appearance enhancements that the sedan people dont get...Originally Posted by serega12
Good point. That's why I'm glad I picked the hatch over sedan. Plus I've always been a "hatch" man... Corrado was the last real hatch I had... VR6... Good ol' days...Originally Posted by tidus10
