I think you cannot change the steering wheel of the Aveo with any other vehicle brand because every brand have a difference so I cannot understand about your topic.

I know that as long as the <milling> in the HUB adapter is similar to your car, you can use it.
I did that on a Hyundai Accent I used to own, and it worked fine, of course it was not designed for a Hyundai vehicle, it was supposed to be used in a Mitsubishi Montero
