remote locking chirp - how to disable?

I have a 2006 Aveo and I wanted to know if there's anyway to disable the chirp when I lock the car?

Just wondering why you'd want to disable the chirp? Without looking, it let's you know your doors are locked and your car is safe. I kind of like that little chirp.

I've had cars where I wanted to disable it - sometimes when it's quiet out at night, I don't want to make any more noise than necessary. Horn beep / chirp is not necessary.

And when it's quiet out, you can actually hear the locks actuating. You don't need the extra sound of the horn or chirp.

i got a 2014 Skoda Octavia to turn the bleep on and off is all done in the radio setting amazing what you can do with the radio these days
