      Seat Belt Reminder

The seat belt reminder symbol did not light in the instrument cluster of aveo 2007 and the chime also did not work. I tried many times but there is no response!!!

find the plug beneath your seat -> disconnect it and see if there is a response while driving without seatbelt (please be safe while driving without a seatbelt stairing at the console...

EDIT: with the plug disconnected you can drive with your seatbelt fastened and it should still chime and display the light... ill test it on my car today

Thank you. The problem is that the symbol does not light or appear in the instrument cluster. So that there is no response from the plug under the seat

ok i tested this, i unplugged my one and the light stayed off dispite my seat belt...
this means you could short the plug part that goes down into the carpet and see if that does it.

your fastening thing with the red button on it might not be closing the circuit properly

so try shorting the plugs while the ignition is on and see if that does it.

I tried this yesterday and nothing happened, the problem is in the circuit between dashboard fuse box and instrument cluster. I think there is no electricity between them.

Unfortunatly it gets pretty complicated if the circuit is damaged.
      Have you checked the fuses?

otherwise here is the schematic (I dont really understand it)
