Short shifter question.

I know someone has made one and that takes time, i understand but is there any other short shifter that might work with little or no modification? Something like a older sonic shifter or a 2.0 5 speed cobalt shifter like this, ARK Performance Short Shifter CHEVROLET COBALT, just a thought, wasnt for sure
