      Size and Info about the stock rear and front speakers (first gen aveo)

      i am looking to get some new speakers in the front and rear of my aveo and im just wondering what kind i need to get. Thanks in advance!

      go to Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Stereo, Home Theater, Speakers, Digital Cameras

      They're about the most help for everything audio related. You don't have to buy from them, but there's lots of good info there.

      I do personally buy from them, simply because they'll throw in for free speaker adapters and install instructions for specific vehicles. They're a TON of help.

      As I recall, 4 inches in the front and 4x6 inches in the rear deck

      the front is a 4" circle, but if you remove the oem speaker adapter and put a 1" spacer in you can fit a shallow mount (less than 2 1/4 thick) 6 1/2" speaker. that's what i did and it really helps out the low range.
