Some progress on radio

Hello Everybody and Happy New Year

So far Now I can adjust volume up and down, I sprayed the control with de-oxit
The radio powers up and the onstar works fine but all the other buttons don't
respond. The display says 98.1 can't tune radio or switch bands. I have contacted
dealer and he wants to work with me on this problem. I am going there tomorrow
Friday. He says if we can't repair it we can install an aftermarket radio no charge
to me. Now thats progress.

if the problem is confined to the radio, the aftermarket radio options with keeping Constar operational in the car is expensive. I would say you should buy an OEM radio off ebay. I have bought 2 and they both plug in and worked.

Went to dealer they agreed that the radio was faulty and ordered a new radio for me at no charge.
I am a happy camper.

i would have just replaced the radio, they are pretty cheap
