how many wats does the stock head unit have keep in mind that it has no cd but and external 6 disc changer has been installed.

yeah...still going to output the same amount of wattage wether you are using more wattage by having an in unit cd player.
most stock speakers are 7 to 10 watts, 25 watts max, so the stock h/u is most likely pulling 28w-40w max. I can put a multimeter to it once I get that stock mp3 headunit from C3.
