Stock sound system, all controls and lights work but no sound!

Hi all, I've been having an issue with my sound system for my 2008 aveo. All my lights and buttons function fully, but no matter what I do I can't get any sound to come on. Of course I've tried to the mute button and turned the dial all the way up on the sound and still nothing. The problem happened immediately after I had Walmart install my winter tires last week, so I'm not sure if the mechanic messed something up by accident (or on purpose ) somehow - likely just a coincidence though. I'm assuming its some loose connection from the stereo to the speakers, but figured I'd see what you guys think before I do any digging myself.

Two Questions: Sedan or Hatch, and what does the display read?

Sedan, and the display functions fine. If I turn the volume up, the display reads that I have done so - if I mute or unmute the system, the display reads just that, etc.
