An injector can be used as a signal. Or at the coil. Let me post a picture of when I installed my remote starter. A website had a picture of the cluster wiring harness and which wire was the tach signal. I'm at work right now but I'm sure I saved that pic somewhere.
sweet, i just cant believe i am having such a hard time lol

It's the white wire, in front of the yellow and brown one. Don't cut it, just splice into it.Quote:

i tend to be a visual learner when it comes to anything dealing with cars in general, everything else does not require pics :P
is this applicable to 2007 aveo hatchbacks that came without the stock tachometer?? i have a 1.2 petrol engine and i really want to have a tach not to rice my car out but just to know whats going on....
should be able to, i had to find a wire in the harness that goes to the cluster, put up a picof the cluster too if you dont mind
you might be able to get a complete cluster if you want to keep a stock look

does anyone here have the same engine that had a tachometer installed?? please do post your pix and wiring diagrams.thanks so much
You can use either the orange or the white wire for a tach signal. As for the pink wire, it's simply a 12v power source.
so ill just need to splice the wire sir?? i will try that..will the signal be accurate for lets say a monster autometer tach?? thanks so much
ok so i spliced the orange wire and hooked up the tach.. my problem is that the signal does not seem to be adequate..the tach reading is actually inaccurate..what do i do??help help help!!!
