Check the bit rate on your files. I don't know what the maximum bit rate the factory cd player can handle would be, but you probably want to keep it around 256bt/s I ran some high bit rate's on itunes and could not load them into my alpine, had to scrap my files and start from scratch with it tuned down. If you are downloading files with a P2P program, they tend to be ripped at some ridiculous rates. Try to get your music from legitimate sources like itunes, or zune, and watch out for the BitRate of the file, most P2P apps will show this in the mouse over, or u can set it as a display option.

      Just a few questions.

      1. So you can mix MP3 & WMA files, as long as there aren't standard files?

      2. Does this mean no .mp3 extensions?

      3. Is it possible to covert files to the correct ones? I think I did this once before, but that was very long ago.

EDIT: I want to make sure, as I was gonna do a couple. One for me, and one for my dad. My dad thought that there was a special disc for this type of thing.
