What years have the armrest in the seat?

I have an 08 Rental right now and I like the seats, so I'm thinking about updating the seats in my 05.

Which years have the built in armrest and also what years have the lumbar support? I don't want the airbags though, so does anyone know my options?

I found my answer. 07 and 08. Both years also had standard side airbags.

really? i have an '07 hatch, and i'm pretty sure it doesn't have side airbags, unless i'm horribly mistaken. mine's the canadian model if that makes any difference. hmm, i'll look at it closer next time.

uhhh. nope. just checked. no indication whatsoever of a side airbag present. i mean i'm quite sure that was an option when i was buying it just like the anti-lock brakes i wanted but never got. but yeah, my seat has the arm-rest, seat height adjuster, and lumbar but no airbag. i've squeezed the side of seat in too to try and feel one. zip.

Re: What years have the armrest in the seat?

I checked on MSN autos and it says side airbags are standard on the 07 and 08. You probably don't have them because it's a Canadian model. This would be perfect for me, but I don't want to drive 1300 miles to the Canadian border plus an additional to get some seats. I'll take the SRS weight penalty.

Now that I have my car back, I'll keep my eye on http://www.car-part.com and when some seats show up locally, I will see if I can pick them up for $150 then sell mine on ebay and hopefully get $50 or so.
