      13 inch winter rims??

Hi, just wondering if these winter rims from Canadian Tire will fit a 09 Aveo5? I tried last year some used 13 inch 4x100 rims(not sure what model car they came from) hub bore and lugs fit but didn't go in all the way due to brake caliper. Seen the specs below for "multi-fit" on Canadian Tire's site and thinking of trying them out.

      Finish: GLOSS
      Colour: Black
Wheel Diameter: 13.00 in / po
Wheel Width: 5.00 in / po
      Bolt Pattern1: 4-100 mm
      Bolt Pattern 2: NA
      Hub Bore: 59.00 mm
      Offset: 40.00 mm
      Backside Spacing: NA
      Max Load: 1100 lb
      Weight: 14.980 lb
      Country of Origin: NA
Centricity: LugCentric / Centrée en fonction des goujons

you might need to run small spacers to correct this. I raninto a similar problemwhen trying to fit my 15s on i shaved the brake caliper carrier till i could fit it on.

Thanks, gave em a try and they do hit the brake. Thought about using spacers but may give 14's a whirl. I really hate the 15 alloys.

instead of buying something new, why not get a 14" wheel used for hopefully less than that?

Looking at used 14 inch but hard to determine without a good cross reference list. I checked out Roadkill customs but learned they have some errors. They also list wheel bore size as 56.1(should be 56.6) and I assume Aveo does have a high offset. Anyone know if "all" Aveo 14 inch rims regardless of year are still the same? My door sticker only states 185/55/r15.

Bought new 14 inch steel rims and 175/70/14 tires. Car is WAY smoother overall in regards to bumps, potholes, and it's even steering better! Compared to my 195/55/15's on alloys to me this "downgrade" made the car so much better to drive. Don't look as nice but worth the trade off for ****ty roads. On another topic I had this car in months back for the spark plug recall and gas mileage still sucks if not more.

I bought steel rims and winter tires from Costco last year, way cheaper and work great. Totally different car with winter tires on.
