I've got 16"s Zigla black and chrome rims with 205/55 tires atm (yes I know its abit high). I'm in the market looking for a replacement. Now I'm studying to go with 17"s rims with 205/50 tires or 205/45 tires (prefer the 205/50 cuz of the condition of the roads here in my country) or should I go with 15"s rims 205/60 tires? or stick with 16"s rims 205/50 tires?... comments/ suggestions are welcomed....
all of those seem to have a huge side wall to me..
but from what you said you have, a 17" is only going to be bigger. do you have the room for that?
i haven't test fitted, but in your situation i would say go 215/50r15 if you are willing to run that size side wall with a 17" rim, you might was well run that on a 15, and still have room to make driving fun instead of rubbing.
205/40-r17, you will be fine, my friend works construction, and his 17s take so much abuse from the potholes, and never one flat
here what the usual sizes are....17 with 205/40, 16 with 215/40, 16 with 205/45. since ur worried about road conditions I say go with 16's and 205/45...if u want 205/50 ur gonna need to go 15's...most responses are gonna say 17's...they look cool but potholes and bumps get tiring
15's with a nice 205/50R15. And the best thing is the 205 50 is exsactly the same OD as the stock 185/55R15.
