The one wheel on that side was way outta balance i rebalnced them all but the only one that was bad was the one that was on the drivers side back and now they dont make any noice and no bouncing. the 2 back tires need replacing but still have a little life so im gonna run them for a while and get new tires for my 15s.

for checking the tread life, look at the indicator bars on the tyre. they should be indicated by a small arrow on the sidewall. basically is a small raised section in the groove running across the tyre, and when the raised bit is even with the treads, you need new tyres.

I say, from recent experience, if you're worried they look too worn, Replace Them.
I just lost nearly a whole day Thursday because as I was coming home from work I felt that my tires "felt funny". I pulled into a gas station that had free air and proceeded to fill all three tires as needed, when I got to the last one, driver rear, I found out that it was totally out of air and the sidewall was ripped on the inside. Long story short, I had lost my lug key to my locking lug nuts, and had a hell of a time getting the wheel off and a spare on.
Good news is I got new tires all the way around, since they all were well worn.
So if you feel they need to be changed, do it. Worst case scenario is that you get new tires and have some backups just in case.
