not really, but you will need an alignment after taking off your struts anyhow..
What do you mean mate an alignment can't I just fit to springs and that's it I shouldn't need to change struts
springs are on the struts, you have to take the struts out to put on the springs. the lower strut bolts are what adjust your alignment, plus the change in ride height will move your alignment.
I have seventeen's and put the h&r sports on mine(lowering kit) and I have stock suspension because I like the feel. You will corner 100% better and be able to steer better as well. But an alignment is needed. I put my springs on at my dealership and went from my service bay straight to the alignment rack and had to adjust a little toe and I still have to oval the strut on the right side to adjust the camber. It wasn't a huge difference? But it'll eat tires.
